A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.<To the chief music-maker on corded instruments, on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David.> O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion.Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your anger, Neither discipline me in your wrath.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Psalms 6:2Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled.Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint.
