| Psalms 5:2 | Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray. | Let the voice of my cry come to you, my King and my God; for to you will I make my prayer. | Listen to the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; For to you do I pray. | Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry. |

You hate all workers of iniquity. | In the morning I will stand before thee, and will see: because thou art not a God that willest iniquity. |
| Psalms 5:6 | Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit. | You will send destruction on those whose words are false; the cruel man and the man of deceit are hated by the Lord. | You will destroy those who speak lies. Yahweh abhors the blood-thirsty and deceitful man. | Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes. |

Let them also who love your name be joyful in you. | Their throat is an open sepulchre: they dealt deceitfully with their tongues: judge them, O God. Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord. |
