Psalms 7:2Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer. So that he may not come rushing on my soul like a lion, wounding it, while there is no one to be my saviour.Lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.O Lord my God, in thee have I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me.
Psalms 7:3Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;O Lord my God, if I have done this; if my hands have done any wrong;Yahweh, my God, if I have done this, If there is iniquity in my hands,Lest at any time he seize upon my soul like a lion, while there is no one to redeem me, nor to save.
Psalms 7:4If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)If I have given back evil to him who did evil to me, or have taken anything from him who was against me without cause; If I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (Yes, I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),O Lord my God, if I have done this thing, if there be iniquity in my hands:
Psalms 7:5Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.Let my hater go after my soul and take it; let my life be crushed to the earth, and my honour into the dust. Selah. If I have rendered to them that repaid me evils, let me deservedly fall empty before my enemies.
Psalms 7:6Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.Come up, Lord, in your wrath; be lifted up against my haters; be awake, my God, give orders for the judging.Arise, Yahweh, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.Let the enemy pursue my soul, and take it, and tread down my life on the earth, and bring down my glory to the dust.
Psalms 7:7And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high. The meeting of the nations will be round you; take your seat, then, over them, on high.Let the congregation of the peoples surround you. Psalms 7:8Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.The Lord will be judge of the peoples; give a decision for me, O Lord, because of my righteousness, and let my virtue have its reward.Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples.
