Psalms 9:1{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.<To the chief music-maker on Muthlabben. A Psalm. Of David.> I will give you praise, O Lord, with all my heart; I will make clear all the wonder of your works.I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.Unto the end, for the hidden things of the Son. A psalm for David.
Psalms 9:2I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.I will be glad and have delight in you: I will make a song of praise to your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, you Most High.I will give praise to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will relate all thy wonders.
Psalms 9:3When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:When my haters are turned back, they will be broken and overcome before you.When my enemies turn back, They stumble and perish in your presence.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou most high.
Psalms 9:4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.For you gave approval to my right and my cause; you were seated in your high place judging in righteousness.For you have maintained my right and my cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened and perish before thy face.
Psalms 9:5Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.You have said sharp words to the nations, you have sent destruction on the sinners, you have put an end to their name for ever and ever.You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever.For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.
Psalms 9:6O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.You have given their towns to destruction; the memory of them has gone; they have become waste for ever.The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished: thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.
Psalms 9:7But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.But the Lord is King for ever: he has made ready his high seat for judging.But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise.
Psalms 9:8And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.And he will be the judge of the world in righteousness, giving true decisions for the peoples.He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.but the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:
Psalms 9:9And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.The Lord will be a high tower for those who are crushed down, a high tower in times of trouble;Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; A high tower in times of trouble.and he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.
Psalms 9:10And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.And those who have knowledge of your name will put their faith in you; because you, Lord, have ever given your help to those who were waiting for you.Those who know your name will put their trust in you, For you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.
Psalms 9:11Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.Make songs of praise to the Lord, whose house is in Zion: make his doings clear to the people.Sing praises to Yahweh, who dwells in Zion, And declare among the people what he has done.And let them trust in thee who know thy name: for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord.
Psalms 9:12For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.When he makes search for blood, he has them in his memory: he is not without thought for the cry of the poor.For he who avenges blood remembers them. He doesn't forget the cry of the afflicted.Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:
Psalms 9:13Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:Have mercy on me, O Lord, and see how I am troubled by my haters; let me be lifted up from the doors of death;Have mercy on me, Yahweh. See my affliction by those who hate me, And lift me up from the gates of death;For requiring their blood he hath remembered the: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.
Psalms 9:14That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.So that I may make clear all your praise in the house of the daughter of Zion: I will be glad because of your salvation.That I may show forth all your praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion I will rejoice in your salvation.Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.
Psalms 9:15The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.The nations have gone down into the hole which they made: in their secret net is their foot taken.The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made; In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
Psalms 9:16Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.The Lord has given knowledge of himself through his judging: the evil-doer is taken in the net which his hands had made. (Higgaion. Selah.)Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they have prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid.
Psalms 9:17The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.The sinners and all the nations who have no memory of God will be turned into the underworld.The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God.The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands.
Psalms 9:18For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.For the poor will not be without help; the hopes of those in need will not be crushed for ever.For the needy shall not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the poor perish forever.The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 9:19Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.Up! O Lord; let not man overcome you: let the nations be judged before you.Arise, Yahweh! Don't let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight.For the poor man shall not be forgotten to the end: the patience of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psalms 9:20Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.Put them in fear, O Lord, so that the nations may see that they are only men. (Selah.)Put them in fear, Yahweh. Let the nations know that they are only men. Selah. Psalm 10Arise, O Lord, let not man be strengthened: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.
