| Jeremiah 30:1 | The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, | This is the word that came to Jeremias from the Lord, saying: | | The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, |
| Jeremiah 30:2 | Thus speaketh Jehovah the God of Israel, saying, Write thee in a book all the words that I have spoken unto thee. | Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, saying: Write thee all the words that I have spoken to thee, in a book. | | `Thus spake Jehovah, God of Israel, saying, Write for thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee on a book. |
| Jeremiah 30:3 | For behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, when I will turn the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith Jehovah; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. | For behold the days come, saith the Lord, and I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Juda, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. | | For, lo, days are coming an affirmation of Jehovah and I have turned back [to] the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, said Jehovah, and I have caused them to turn back unto the land that I gave to their fathers, and they do possess it.` |
| Jeremiah 30:4 | And these are the words that Jehovah hath spoken concerning Israel and concerning Judah; | And these are the words that the Lord hath spoken to Israel and to Juda: | | And these [are] the words that Jehovah hath spoken concerning Israel and concerning Judah: |
| Jeremiah 30:5 | for thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, there is fear, and no peace. | For thus saith the Lord: We have heard a voice of terror : there is fear and no peace. | | Surely thus said Jehovah: A voice of trembling we have heard, Fear and there is no peace. |
| Jeremiah 30:6 | Ask ye now, and see, whether a male doth travail with child? Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail; and all faces are turned into paleness? | Ask ye, and see if a man bear children ? why then have I seen every man with his hands on his loins, like a woman in labour, and all faces are turned yellow? | | Ask, I pray you, and see, is a male bringing forth? Wherefore have I seen every man, His hands on his loins, as a travailing woman, And all faces have been turned to paleness? |
| Jeremiah 30:7 | Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. | Alas, for that day is great, neither is there the like to it; and it Is the time of tribulation to Jacob, but he shall be saved out of it. | | Wo! for great [is] that day, without any like it, Yea, a time of adversity it [is] to Jacob, Yet out of it he is saved. |
| Jeremiah 30:8 | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more reduce him to servitude. | And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst his bands: and strangers shall no more rule over him: | | And it hath come to pass, in that day, An affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, I break his yoke from off thy neck, And thy bands I draw away, And lay no more service on him do strangers. |

| Jeremiah 30:10 | And thou, my servant Jacob, fear not, saith Jehovah; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for behold, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and at ease, and none shall make [him] afraid. | Therefore fear thou not, my servant Jacob, saith the Lord, neither be dismayed, O Israel: for behold, I will save thee from a country afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity: and Jacob shall return, and be at rest, and abound with all good things, and there shall be none whom he may fear: | | And thou, be not afraid, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Jehovah, Nor be affrighted, O Israel, For, lo, I am saving thee from afar, And thy seed from the land of their captivity, And Jacob hath turned back and rested, And is quiet, and there is none troubling. |
| Jeremiah 30:11 | For I am with thee, saith Jehovah, to save thee: for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have scattered thee; yet of thee will I not make a full end, but I will correct thee with judgment, and will not hold thee altogether guiltless. | For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: for I will utterly consume all the nations, among which I have scattered thee: but I will not utterly consume thee: but I will chastise thee in judgment, that thou mayst not seem to thyself innocent. | | For with thee [am] I, An affirmation of Jehovah to save thee, For I make an end of all the nations Whither I have scattered thee, Only, of thee I do not make an end, And I have chastised thee in judgment, And do not entirely acquit thee. |
| Jeremiah 30:12 | For thus saith Jehovah: Thy bruise is incurable, thy wound is grievous. | For thus saith the Lord: Thy bruise is incurable, thy wound is very grievous. | | For thus said Jehovah: Incurable is thy breach, grievous thy stroke, |
| Jeremiah 30:13 | There is none to plead thy cause, to bind up [thy wound]; thou hast no healing medicines. | There is none to judge thy judgment to bind it up : thou hast no healing medicines. | | There is none judging thy cause to bind up, Healing medicines there are none for thee. |
| Jeremiah 30:14 | All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not. For I have smitten thee with the stroke of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the greatness of thine iniquity: thy sins are manifold. | All thy lovers have forgotten thee, and will not seek after thee: for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with a cruel chastisement: by reason of the multitude of thy iniquities, thy sins are hardened. | | all loving thee have forgotten thee, Thee they do not seek, For with the stroke of an enemy I smote thee, The chastisement of a fierce one, Because of the abundance of thy iniquity, Mighty have been thy sins! |
| Jeremiah 30:15 | Why criest thou because of thy bruise? thy sorrow is incurable; for the greatness of thine iniquity, [because] thy sins are manifold, I have done these things unto thee. | Why criest thou for thy affliction? thy sorrow is incurable: for the multitude of thy iniquity, and for thy hardened sins I have done these things to thee. | | What! thou criest concerning thy breach! Incurable [is] thy pain, Because of the abundance of thy iniquity, Mighty have been thy sins! I have done these to thee. |
| Jeremiah 30:16 | Therefore all that devour thee shall be devoured, and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be for a spoil; and all they that prey upon thee will I give to be a prey. | Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured: and all thy enemies shall be carried into captivity : and they that waste thee shall be wasted, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey. | | Therefore all consuming thee are consumed, And all thine adversaries all of them Into captivity do go, And thy spoilers have been for a spoil, And all thy plunderers I give up to plunder. |
| Jeremiah 30:17 | For I will apply a bandage unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; for they have called thee an outcast: This is Zion that no man seeketh after. | For I will close up thy scar, and will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord. Because they have called thee, O Sion, an outcast: This is she that hath none to seek after her. | | For I increase health to thee, And from thy strokes I do heal thee, An affirmation of Jehovah, For `Outcast` they have called to thee, `Zion it [is], there is none seeking for her.` |
| Jeremiah 30:18 | Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will turn the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his habitations; and the city shall be built upon her own heap; and the palace shall be inhabited after the manner thereof. | Thus saith the Lord: Behold I bring back the captivity of the pavilions of Jacob, and will have pity on his houses, and the city shall be built in her place, and the temple shall be found according to the order thereof. | | Thus said Jehovah: Lo, I turn back [to] the captivity of the tents of Jacob, And his dwelling places I pity, And the city hath been built on its heap, And the palace according to its ordinance remaineth. |
| Jeremiah 30:19 | And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving, and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be diminished; and I will honour them, and they shall not be small. | And out of them shall come forth praise, and the voice of them that play: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be made few : and I will glorify them, and they shall not be lessened. | | And gone forth from them hath thanksgiving, And the voice of playful ones, And I have multiplied them and they are not few, And made them honourable, and they are not small. |
| Jeremiah 30:20 | And their sons shall be as aforetime; and their assembly shall be established before me; and I will punish all that oppress them. | And their children shall be as from the beginning, and their assembly be permanent before me : and I will against all that afflict them. | | And his sons have been as aforetime, And his company before Me is established, And I have seen after all his oppressors. |
| Jeremiah 30:21 | And their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to approach, and he shall draw near unto me. For who is this that engageth his heart to draw near unto me? saith Jehovah. | And their leader shall be of themselves: and their prince shall come forth from the midst of them : and I will bring him near, and he shall come to me: for who is this that setteth his heart to approach to me, saith the Lord? | | And his honourable one hath been of himself, And his ruler from his midst goeth forth, And I have caused him to draw near, And he hath drawn nigh unto Me, For who [is] he who hath pledged his heart To draw nigh unto Me? An affirmation of Jehovah. |
| Jeremiah 30:22 | And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. | And you shall be my people: and I will be your God. | | And ye have been to Me for a people, And I am to you for God. |
| Jeremiah 30:23 | Behold, a tempest of Jehovah, fury is gone forth, a sweeping storm: it shall whirl down upon the head of the wicked. | Behold the whirlwind of the Lord, his fury going forth, a violent storm, it shall rest upon the head of the wicked. | | Lo, a whirlwind of Jehovah Fury hath gone forth a cutting whirlwind, On the head of the wicked it stayeth. |
| Jeremiah 30:24 | The fierce anger of Jehovah shall not return, until he have executed, and until he have performed the purposes of his heart. At the end of the days ye shall consider it. | The Lord will not turn away the wrath of his indignation, till he have executed and performed the thought o his heart: in the latter days you shall understand these things. | | The fierceness of the anger of Jehovah Doth not turn back till His doing, Yea, till His establishing the devices of His heart, In the latter end of the days we consider it! |
