| Psalms 49:1 | {To the chief Musician. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.} Hear this, all ye peoples; give ear, all inhabitants of the world: | Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: | Hear this, all you peoples. Listen, all you inhabitants of the world, | A psalm for Asaph. The God of gods, the Lord hath spoken: and he hath called the earth. From the rising of the sun, to the going down thereof: |
| Psalms 49:2 | Both men of low and men of high degree, rich and poor alike. | Both low and high, rich and poor, together. | Both low and high, Rich and poor together. | out of Sion the loveliness of his beauty. |
| Psalms 49:3 | My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding: | My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. | My mouth will speak words of wisdom. My heart shall utter understanding. | God shall come manifestly: our God shall come, and shall not keep silence. A fire shall burn before him: and a mighty tempest shall be round about him. |
