| Isaiah 11:1 | And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall be fruitful; | And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots: | And there will come a rod out of the broken tree of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will give fruit. | And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, And a branch from his roots is fruitful. |
| Isaiah 11:2 | and the Spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah. | And the spirit of the LORD will rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; | And the spirit of the Lord will be resting on him, the spirit of wisdom and good sense, the spirit of wise guiding and strength, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; | Rested on him hath the Spirit of Jehovah, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and fear of Jehovah. |
