Job 8:4If thy children have sinned against him, he hath also given them over into the hand of their transgression. If thy children have sinned against him, and he hath cast them away for their transgression; If your children have done evil against him, then their punishment is from his hand.If thy sons have sinned before Him, And He doth send them away, By the hand of their transgression,
Job 8:5If thou seek earnestly unto ùGod, and make thy supplication to the Almighty,If thou wouldst seek to God betimes, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; If you will make search for God with care, and put your request before the Ruler of all;If thou dost seek early unto God, And unto the Mighty makest supplication,
Job 8:6If thou be pure and upright, surely now he will awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous; If thou wert pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous. If you are clean and upright; then he will certainly be moved to take up your cause, and will make clear your righteousness by building up your house again. If pure and upright thou [art], Surely now He waketh for thee, And hath completed The habitation of thy righteousness.
Job 8:7And though thy beginning was small, yet thine end shall be very great.Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end would greatly increase. And though your start was small, your end will be very great. And thy beginning hath been small, And thy latter end is very great.
Job 8:8For inquire, I pray thee, of the former generation, and attend to the researches of their fathers; For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:Put the question now to the past generations, and give attention to what has been searched out by their fathers:For, ask I pray thee of a former generation, And prepare to a search of their fathers,
Job 8:9For we are [but] of yesterday, and know nothing, for our days upon earth are a shadow.(For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)(For we are but of yesterday, and have no knowledge, because our days on earth are gone like a shade:)(For of yesterday we [are], and we know not, For a shadow [are] our days on earth.)
Job 8:10Shall not they teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? Will they not teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of their heart? Will they not give you teaching, and say words of wisdom to you?Do they not shew thee speak to thee, And from their heart bring forth words?
Job 8:11Doth the papyrus shoot up without mire? doth the reed-grass grow without water? Can the rush grow without mire? can the flag grow without water? Will the river-plant come up in its pride without wet earth? will the grass get tall without water?`Doth a rush wise without mire? A reed increase without water?
Job 8:12Whilst it is yet in its greenness [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] grass.Whilst it is yet in its greenness, and not cut down, it withereth before any other herb. When it is still green, without being cut down, it becomes dry and dead before any other plant. While it [is] in its budding uncropt, Even before any herb it withereth.
Job 8:13So are the paths of all that forget ùGod; and the profane man's hope shall perish,So are the paths of all that forget God; and the hypocrite's hope shall perish:So is the end of all who do not keep God in mind; and the hope of the evil-doer comes to nothing:So [are] the paths of all forgetting God, And the hope of the profane doth perish,
Job 8:14Whose confidence shall be cut off, and his reliance is a spider's web.Whose hope shall be cut off, and whose trust shall be a spider's web.Whose support is cut off, and whose hope is no stronger than a spider's thread.Whose confidence is loathsome, And the house of a spider his trust.
Job 8:15He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand; he shall lay hold on it, but it shall not endure. He shall lean upon his house, but it shall not stand: he shall hold it fast, but it shall not endure. He is looking to his family for support, but it is not there; he puts his hope in it, but it comes to nothing. He leaneth on his house and it standeth not: He taketh hold on it and it abideth not.
Job 8:16He is full of sap before the sun, and his sprout shooteth forth over his garden; He is green before the sun, and his branch shooteth forth in his garden. He is full of strength before the sun, and his branches go out over his garden.Green he [is] before the sun, And over his garden his branch goeth out.

Job 8:18If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen thee!If he shall destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.If he is taken away from his place, then it will say, I have not seen you.If [one] doth destroy him from his place, Then it hath feigned concerning him, I have not seen thee!
Job 8:19Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the dust shall others grow.Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the earth shall others grow.Such is the joy of his way, and out of the dust another comes up to take his place.Lo, this [is] the joy of his way, And from the dust others spring up.`
Job 8:20Behold, ùGod will not cast off a perfect man, neither will he take evil-doers by the hand.Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:Truly, God will not give up him who is without sin, and will not take evil-doers by the hand.Lo, God doth not reject the perfect, Nor taketh hold on the hand of evil doers.
