I am come into the depth of the sea: and a tempest hath overwhelmed me.
Psalms 68:4Sing unto God, sing forth his name; cast up a way for him that rideth in the deserts: his name is Jah; and rejoice before him.Sing to God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.Sing ye to God praise His name, Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, In Jah [is] His name, and exult before Him.I have laboured with crying; my jaws are become hoarse: my eyes have failed, whilst I hope in my God.
Psalms 68:5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.Father of the fatherless, and judge of the widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation. They are multiplied above the hairs of my head, who hate me without cause. My enemies are grown strong who have wrongfully persecuted me: then did I pay that which I took not away.
Psalms 68:6God maketh the solitary into families; those that were bound he bringeth out into prosperity: but the rebellious dwell in a parched [land].God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those who are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.God causing the lonely to dwell at home, Bringing out bound ones into prosperity, Only the refractory have inhabited a dry place.O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:
Psalms 68:7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness (Selah)O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:O God, in Thy going forth before Thy people, In Thy stepping through the wilderness, Selah.Let not them be ashamed for me, who look for thee, O Lord, the Lord of hosts. Let them not be confounded on my account, who seek thee, O God of Israel.
Psalms 68:8The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel. The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. The earth hath shaken, Yea, the heavens have dropped before God, This Sinai before God, the God of Israel.Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

Thine inheritance, when it hath been weary, Thou hast established it.I am become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to the sons of my mother.

Psalms 68:13Though ye have lain among the sheepfolds, [ye shall be as] wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.Though ye have lain among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.Though ye do lie between two boundaries, Wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold. They that sat in the gate spoke against me: and they that drank wine made me their song.
Psalms 68:14When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it became snow-white as Zalmon. When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon. When the Mighty spreadeth kings in it, It doth snow in Salmon. But as for me, my prayer is to thee, O Lord; for the time of thy good pleasure, O God. In the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
Psalms 68:15[As] mount Bashan is the mount of God, a many-peaked mountain, [as] mount Bashan. The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; a high hill as the hill of Bashan.A hill of God [is] the hill of Bashan, A hill of heights [is] the hill of Bashan.Draw me out of the mire, that I may not stick fast: deliver me from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
Psalms 68:16Why do ye look with envy, ye many-peaked mountains, upon the mount that God hath desired for his abode? yea, Jehovah will dwell [there] for ever. Why leap ye, ye lofty hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yes, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. Why do ye envy, O high hills, The hill God hath desired for His seat? Jehovah also doth tabernacle for ever.Let not the tempest of water drown me, nor the deep swallow me up: and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Psalms 68:21Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses. But God will wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such one as goeth on still in his trespasses.Only God doth smite The head of His enemies, The hairy crown of a habitual walker in his guilt. In thy sight are all they that afflict me; my heart hath expected reproach and misery. And I looked for one that would grieve together with me, but there was none: and for one that would comfort me, and I found none.
Psalms 68:22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depth of the sea;The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea.The Lord said: `From Bashan I bring back, I bring back from the depths of the sea.And they gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Blessed be God!O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power to his people. Blessed be God.Fearful, O God, out of Thy sanctuaries, The God of Israel Himself, Giving strength and might to the people.
