1st-Corinthians 12:1But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
1st-Corinthians 12:2Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
1st-Corinthians 12:3I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
1st-Corinthians 12:4But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
1st-Corinthians 12:5and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
1st-Corinthians 12:6and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
1st-Corinthians 12:7But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit.
1st-Corinthians 12:8For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:9and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
1st-Corinthians 12:10and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, divers kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages:
1st-Corinthians 12:11But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
1st-Corinthians 12:12For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
1st-Corinthians 12:13For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1st-Corinthians 12:14For also the body is not one member but many.For the body is not one member, but many.
1st-Corinthians 12:15If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:16And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:17If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
1st-Corinthians 12:18But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
1st-Corinthians 12:19But if all were one member, where the body?And if they were all one member, where were the body?
1st-Corinthians 12:20But now the members [are] many, and the body one.But now are they many members, yet but one body.
1st-Corinthians 12:21The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1st-Corinthians 12:22But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
1st-Corinthians 12:23and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
1st-Corinthians 12:24but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked:
1st-Corinthians 12:25that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
1st-Corinthians 12:26And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
1st-Corinthians 12:27Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
1st-Corinthians 12:28And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages.
1st-Corinthians 12:29[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
1st-Corinthians 12:30have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in languages? do all interpret?
1st-Corinthians 12:31But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.But covet earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way.
