| 1st-Corinthians 12:1 | But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:2 | Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led. | Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:3 | I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit. | Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:4 | But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit; | Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. |

| 1st-Corinthians 12:23 | and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness; | And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. |

But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked; | For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:25 | that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another. | That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:26 | And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it]. | And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. |

| 1st-Corinthians 12:28 | And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues. | And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages. |
