1st-Corinthians 5:1It is universally reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as [is] not even among the nations, so that one should have his father's wife.It is reported commonly that there is lewdness among you, and such lewdness as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
1st-Corinthians 5:2And *ye* are puffed up, and ye have not rather mourned, in order that he that has done this deed might be taken away out of the midst of you.And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he who hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
1st-Corinthians 5:3For *I*, [as] absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged as present,For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
1st-Corinthians 5:4[to deliver,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (ye and my spirit being gathered together, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ), him that has so wrought this:In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are assembled, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
1st-Corinthians 5:5to deliver him, [I say,] [being] such, to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. To deliver such one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
1st-Corinthians 5:6Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?Your boasting is not good. Know ye not, that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
1st-Corinthians 5:7Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed;Cleanse out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
1st-Corinthians 5:8so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1st-Corinthians 5:9I have written to you in the epistle not to mix with fornicators;I have written to you in this epistle, not to associate with persons guilty of lewdness:
1st-Corinthians 5:10not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the avaricious and rapacious, or idolaters, since [then] ye should go out of the world.Yet not altogether with lewd persons of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters: for then ye must needs go out of the world.
1st-Corinthians 5:11But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat.But now I have written to you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother is a lewd person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner: with such person no not to eat.
1st-Corinthians 5:12For what have *I* [to do] with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within? For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do ye not judge them that are within?
1st-Corinthians 5:13But those without God judges. Remove the wicked person from amongst yourselves. But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
