Proverbs 14:1The wisdom of women buildeth their house; but folly plucketh it down with her hands.Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
Proverbs 14:2He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; but he that is perverted in his ways despiseth him.He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
Proverbs 14:3In the fool's mouth is a rod of pride; but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
Proverbs 14:4Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; but much increase is by the strength of the ox.Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
Proverbs 14:5A faithful witness will not lie; but a false witness uttereth lies.A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
Proverbs 14:6A scorner seeketh wisdom, and there is none [for him]; but knowledge is easy unto the intelligent.A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy to him that understandeth.
Proverbs 14:7Go from the presence of a foolish man, in whom thou perceivest not the lips of knowledge.Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge.
Proverbs 14:8The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way; but the folly of the foolish is deceit.The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
Proverbs 14:9Fools make a mock at trespass; but for the upright there is favour.Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor.
Proverbs 14:10The heart knoweth its own bitterness, and a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.The heart knoweth its own bitterness; and a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy.
Proverbs 14:11The house of the wicked shall be overthrown; but the tent of the upright shall flourish.The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.
Proverbs 14:12There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death.There is a way which seemeth right to a man, but the end of it are the ways of death.
Proverbs 14:13Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful, and the end of mirth is sadness.Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.
Proverbs 14:14The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man from what is in himself.The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.
Proverbs 14:15The simple believeth every word; but the prudent [man] heedeth his going.The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.
Proverbs 14:16A wise [man] feareth and departeth from evil; but the foolish is overbearing and confident.A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident.
Proverbs 14:17He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly, and a man of mischievous devices is hated.He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
Proverbs 14:18The simple inherit folly; but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
Proverbs 14:19The evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous [man].The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
Proverbs 14:20He that is poor is hated even of his own neighbour; but the rich hath many friends.The poor is hated even by his own neighbor: but the rich hath many friends.
Proverbs 14:21He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth; but he that is gracious to the afflicted, happy is he.He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.
Proverbs 14:22Do they not err that devise evil? but loving-kindness and truth are for those that devise good.Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
Proverbs 14:23In all labour there is profit; but the talk of the lips [tendeth] only to want.In all labor there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.
Proverbs 14:24The crown of the wise is their riches; the folly of the foolish is folly.The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.
Proverbs 14:25A true witness delivereth souls; but deceit uttereth lies.A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.

Proverbs 14:27The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death.The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
Proverbs 14:28In the multitude of people is the king's glory; but in the lack of people is the ruin of a prince.In the multitude of people is the king's honor: but in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.
Proverbs 14:29He that is slow to anger is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

Proverbs 14:32The wicked is driven away by his evil-doing; but the righteous trusteth, [even] in his death.The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.
Proverbs 14:33Wisdom resteth in the heart of the intelligent [man]; but that which is in the foolish maketh itself known.Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
Proverbs 14:34Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to peoples.Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Proverbs 14:35The king's favour is toward a wise servant; but his wrath is [against] him that causeth shame.The king's favor is towards a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.
