Psalms 3:2Many say of my soul, There is no salvation for him in God. Selah.Many there are who say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
Psalms 3:3But thou, Jehovah, art a shield about me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of my head.
Psalms 3:4With my voice will I call to Jehovah, and he will answer me from the hill of his holiness. Selah.I cried to the LORD with my voice, and he heard me from his holy hill. Selah.
Psalms 3:5I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for Jehovah sustaineth me.I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
Psalms 3:6I will not fear for myriads of the people that have set themselves against me round about.I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me on all sides.
Psalms 3:7Arise, Jehovah; save me, my God! For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone, thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all my enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Psalms 3:8Salvation is of Jehovah; thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.Salvation belongeth to the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
