A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
Psalms 6:2Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled. Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated.
Psalms 6:3And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? My soul is also greatly disquieted: but thou, O LORD, how long?
Psalms 6:4Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake. Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies sake.
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee?For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who will give thee thanks?
Psalms 6:6I am wearied with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears.I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Psalms 6:7Mine eye wasteth away through grief; it hath grown old because of all mine oppressors.Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries. My eye is consumed because of grief; it groweth old because of all my enemies.

Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly disquieted: let them return and be suddenly ashamed.
