Psalms 41:1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Blessed is he that understandeth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.Blessed is he who considers the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil.Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.
Psalms 41:2Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive; he shall be made happy in the land; and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies.Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive, He shall be blessed on the earth, And he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies.
Psalms 41:3Jehovah will sustain him upon the bed of languishing: thou turnest all his bed in his sickness.Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, And restore him from his bed of illness.Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing: Thou makest all his bed in his sickness.
Psalms 41:4As for me, I said, Jehovah, be gracious unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.I said, " Yahweh, have mercy on me. Heal me, for I have sinned against you."I said, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
Psalms 41:5Mine enemies wish me evil: When will he die, and his name perish?My enemies speak evil against me: "When will he die, and his name perish?"Mine enemies speak evil against me, [saying], When will he die, and his name perish?
Psalms 41:6And if one come to see [me], he speaketh falsehood; his heart gathereth wickedness to itself: he goeth abroad, he telleth [it].If he come to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.And if he come to see [me], he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
Psalms 41:7All that hate me whisper together against me; against me do they devise my hurt.All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.All that hate me whisper together against me; Against me do they devise my hurt.
Psalms 41:8A thing of Belial cleaveth fast unto him; and now that he is laid down, he will rise up no more."An evil disease," they say, "has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more."An evil disease, [say they], cleaveth fast unto him; And now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
Psalms 41:9Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I confided, who did eat of my bread, hath lifted up [his] heel against me.Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who ate bread with me, Has lifted up his heel against me.Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who did eat of my bread, Hath lifted up his heel against me.
Psalms 41:10But thou, Jehovah, be gracious unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, That I may repay them.But thou, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me, and raise me up, That I may requite them.
Psalms 41:11By this I know that thou delightest in me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.By this I know that you delight in me, Because my enemy doesn't triumph over me.By this I know that thou delightest in me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Psalms 41:12But as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever.And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, And settest me before thy face for ever.
Psalms 41:13Blessed be Jehovah, the God of Israel, from eternity to eternity! Amen, and Amen.Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, From everlasting and to everlasting! Amen and amen.
