Psalms 24:1Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.The earth is Jehovah's, and the fulness thereof; The world, and they that dwell therein. <A Psalm. Of David.> The earth is the Lord's, with all its wealth; the world and all the people living in it.The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 24:2In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed.For he hath founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the floods. For by him it was based on the seas, and made strong on the deep rivers.For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
Psalms 24:3Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded.Who shall ascend into the hill of Jehovah? And who shall stand in his holy place? Who may go up into the hill of the Lord? and who may come into his holy place?Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
Psalms 24:4Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto falsehood, And hath not sworn deceitfully. He who has clean hands and a true heart; whose desire has not gone out to foolish things, who has not taken a false oath.He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
Psalms 24:5Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long.He shall receive a blessing from Jehovah, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. He will have blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Psalms 24:6Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world.This is the generation of them that seek after him, That seek thy face, [even] Jacob. Selah This is the generation of those whose hearts are turned to you, even to your face, O God of Jacob. (Selah.)This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
Psalms 24:7The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; And be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in. Let your heads be lifted up, O doors; be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in.Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:8The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way.Who is the King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of strength and power, the Lord strong in war.Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Psalms 24:9He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; Yea, lift them up, ye everlasting doors: And the King of glory will come in. Let your heads be lifted up, O doors; let them be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in.Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psalms 24:10All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts, He is the King of glory. Psalms 24:11For thy name's sake, O Lord, thou wilt pardon my sin: for it is great.
Psalms 24:12Who is the man that feareth the Lord? He hath appointed him a law in the way he hath chosen.
Psalms 24:13His soul shall dwell in good things: and his seed shall inherit the land.
Psalms 24:14The Lord is a firmament to them that fear him: and his covenant shall be made manifest to them.
Psalms 24:15My eyes are ever towards the Lord: for he shall pluck my feet out of the snare.
Psalms 24:16Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
Psalms 24:17The troubles of my heart are multiplied: deliver me from my necessities.
Psalms 24:18See my abjection and my labour; and forgive me all my sins.
Psalms 24:19Consider my enemies for they are multiplied, and have hated me with an unjust hatred.
Psalms 24:20Keep thou my soul, and deliver me: I shall not be ashamed, for I have hoped in thee.
Psalms 24:21The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.
Psalms 24:22Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
