Psalms 30:1Unto the end, a psalm for David, in an ecstasy.I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. <A Psalm. A Song at the blessing of the House. Of David.> I will give you praise and honour, O Lord, because through you I have been lifted up; you have not given my haters cause to be glad over me.A Psalm and Song, at the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
Psalms 30:2In thee, O Lord, have I hoped, Iet me never be confounded: deliver me in thy justice.O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O Lord my God, I sent up my cry to you, and you have made me well.O LORD my God, I cried to thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psalms 30:3Bow down thy ear to me: make haste to deliver me. Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a house of refuge, to save me.O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. O Lord, you have made my soul come again from the underworld: you have given me life and kept me from going down among the dead.O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalms 30:4For thou art my strength and my refuge; and for thy name's sake thou wilt lead me, and nourish me.Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial [name]. Make songs to the Lord, O you saints of his, and give praise to his holy name.Sing to the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Psalms 30:5Thou wilt bring me out of this snare, which they have hidden for me: for thou art my protector.For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy [cometh] in the morning. For his wrath is only for a minute; in his grace there is life; weeping may be for a night, but joy comes in the morning.For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Psalms 30:6Into thy hands I commend my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord, the God of truth.As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved. When things went well for me I said, I will never be moved.And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
Psalms 30:7Thou hast hated them that regard vanities, to no purpose. But I have hoped in the Lord:Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled. Lord, by your grace you have kept my mountain strong: when your face was turned from me I was troubled.LORD, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
Psalms 30:8I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy. For thou best regarded my humility, thou hast saved my soul out of distresses.I cried to thee, O Jehovah; And unto Jehovah I made supplication: My voice went up to you, O Lord; I made my prayer to the Lord.I cried to thee, O LORD; and to the LORD I made supplication.
Psalms 30:9And thou hast not shut me up in the hands of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a spacious place.What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? What profit is there in my blood if I go down into the underworld? will the dust give you praise, or be a witness to your help?What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
Psalms 30:10Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am afflicted: my eye is troubled with wrath, my soul, and my belly:Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me: Jehovah, be thou my helper. Give ear to me, O Lord, and have mercy on me: Lord, be my helper.Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
Psalms 30:11For my life is wasted with grief: and my years in sighs. My strength is weakened through poverty and my bones are disturbed.Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; By you my sorrow is turned into dancing; you have taken away my clothing of grief, and given me robes of joy;Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Psalms 30:12I am become a reproach among all my enemies, and very much to my neighbours; and a fear to my acquaintance. They that saw me without fled from me.To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Psalm 31 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. So that my glory may make songs of praise to you and not be quiet. O Lord my God, I will give you praise for ever.To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
Psalms 30:13I am forgotten as one dead from the heart. I am become as a vessel that is destroyed.
Psalms 30:14For I have heard the blame of many that dwell round about. While they assembled together against me, they consulted to take away my life.
Psalms 30:15But I have put my trust in thee, O Lord: I said: Thou art my God.
Psalms 30:16My lots are in thy hands. Deliver me out of the hands of my enemies; and from them that persecute me.
Psalms 30:17Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy mercy.
Psalms 30:18Let me not be confounded, O Lord, for I have called upon thee. Let the wicked be ashamed, and be brought down to hell.
Psalms 30:19Let deceitful lips be made dumb. Which speak iniquity against the just, with pride and abuse.
Psalms 30:20O how great is the multitude of thy sweetness, O Lord, which thou hast hidden for them that fear thee! Which thou hast wrought for them that hope in thee, in the sight of the sons of men.
Psalms 30:21Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy face, from the disturbance of men. Thou shalt protect them in thy tabernacle from the contradiction of tongues.
Psalms 30:22Blessed be the Lord, for he hath shewn his wonderful mercy to me in a fortified city.
Psalms 30:23But I said in the excess of my mind: I am cast away from before thy eyes. Therefore thou hast heard the voice of my prayer, when I cried to thee.
Psalms 30:24O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord will require truth, and will repay them abundantly that act proudly.
Psalms 30:25Do ye manfully, and let your heart be strengthened, all ye that hope in the Lord.
