| Psalms 41:1 | Unto the end, understanding for the sons of Core. | Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil. | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> Happy is the man who gives thought to the poor; the Lord will be his saviour in the time of trouble. | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. | Psalms 41:2 | As the hart panteth after the fountains of water; so my soul panteth after thee, O God. | Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies. | The Lord will keep him safe, and give him life; the Lord will let him be a blessing on the earth, and will not give him into the hand of his haters. | The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies. |

Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him : the salvation of my countenance, | And if he come to see [me], he speaketh falsehood; His heart gathereth iniquity to itself: When he goeth abroad, he telleth it. | If one comes to see me, deceit is in his heart; he keeps a store of evil, which he makes public in every place. | And if he cometh to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. |
