| Psalms 62:1 | A psalm of David when he was in the desert of Edom. | My soul waiteth in silence for God only: From him [cometh] my salvation. | <To the chief music-maker. After Jeduthun. A Psalm. Of David.> My soul, put all your faith in God; for from him comes my salvation. | To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. |
| Psalms 62:2 | O God, my God, to thee do I watch at break of day. For thee my soul hath thirsted; for thee my flesh, O how many ways! | He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved. | He only is my Rock and my salvation; he is my high tower; I will not be greatly moved. | He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. |
