| Psalms 71:1 | A psalm on Solomon. | In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame. | In you, O Lord, have I put my hope; let me never be shamed. | |
| Psalms 71:2 | Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king's son thy justice: To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment. | Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: Bow down thine ear unto me, and save me. | Keep me safe in your righteousness, and come to my help; give ear to my voice, and be my saviour. | |
| Psalms 71:3 | Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills justice. | Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: Thou hast given commandment to save me; For thou art my rock and my fortress. | Be my strong Rock, the strong place of my salvation; for you are my Rock, and my safe place. | |
