| Psalms 91:1 | A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day. | He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. | Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High; | |
| Psalms 91:2 | It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High. | I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust. | Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope. | |
| Psalms 91:3 | To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night: | For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. | He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease. | |

| Psalms 91:8 | When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever: | Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked. | Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers. | |

| Psalms 91:12 | My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me. | They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. | In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone. | |
