| 2nd-Corinthians 9:1 | For concerning the ministry that is done towards the saints, it is superfluous for me to write unto you. | For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: | But there is no need for me to say anything in my letter about the giving to the saints: | For, indeed, concerning the ministration that [is] for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you, |
| 2nd-Corinthians 9:2 | For I know your forward mind: for which I boast of you to the Macedonians. That Achaia also is ready from the year past, and your emulation hath provoked very many. | for I know your readiness, of which I glory on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia hath been prepared for a year past; and your zeal hath stirred up very many of them. | For I have before made clear to those of Macedonia my pride in your ready mind, saying to them that Achaia has been ready for a year back; and a great number have been moved to do the same by your example. | for I have known your readiness of mind, which in your behalf I boast of to Macedonians, that Achaia hath been prepared a year ago, and the zeal of you did stir up the more part, |

| 2nd-Corinthians 9:4 | Lest, when the Macedonians shall come with me, and find you unprepared, we (not to say ye) should be ashamed in this matter. | lest by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, ye) should be put to shame in this confidence. | For fear that, if any from Macedonia come with me, and you are not ready, we (not to say, you) might be put to shame in this thing. | lest if Macedonians may come with me, and find you unprepared, we we may be put to shame (that we say not ye) in this same confidence of boasting. |
| 2nd-Corinthians 9:5 | Therefore I thought it necessary to desire the brethren that they would go to you before, and prepare this blessing before promised, to be ready, so as a blessing, not as covetousness. | I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion. | So it seemed to me wise for the brothers to go before, and see that the amount which you had undertaken to give was ready, so that it might be a cause for praise, and not as if we were making profit out of you. | Necessary, therefore, I thought [it] to exhort the brethren, that they may go before to you, and may make up before your formerly announced blessing, that this be ready, as a blessing, and not as covetousness. |

| 2nd-Corinthians 9:7 | Every one as he hath determined in his heart, not with sadness, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. | [Let] each man [do] according as he hath purposed in his heart: not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. | Let every man do after the purpose of his heart; not giving with grief, or by force: for God takes pleasure in a ready giver. | each one, according as he doth purpose in heart, not out of sorrow or out of necessity, for a cheerful giver doth God love, |

| 2nd-Corinthians 9:10 | And he that ministereth seed to the sower, will both give you bread to eat, and will multiply your seed, and increase the growth of the fruits of your justice: | And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness: | And he who gives seed for putting into the field and bread for food, will take care of the growth of your seed, at the same time increasing the fruits of your righteousness; | and may He who is supplying seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness, |

| 2nd-Corinthians 9:12 | Because the administration of this office doth not only supply the want of the saints, but aboundeth also by many thanksgivings in the Lord, | For the ministration of this service not only filleth up the measure of the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also through many thanksgivings unto God; | For this work of giving not only takes care of the needs of the saints, but is the cause of much praise to God; | because the ministration of this service not only is supplying the wants of the saints, but is also abounding through many thanksgivings to God, |
| 2nd-Corinthians 9:13 | By the proof of this ministry, glorifying God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the simplicity of your communicating unto them, and unto all. | seeing that through the proving [of you] by this ministration they glorify God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of [your] contribution unto them and unto all; | For when, through this work of giving, they see what you are, they give glory to God for the way in which you have given yourselves to the good news of Christ, and for the wealth of your giving to them and to all; | through the proof of this ministration glorifying God for the subjection of your confession to the good news of the Christ, and [for] the liberality of the fellowship to them and to all, |
