Psalms 6:1Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. <To the chief music-maker on corded instruments, on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David.> O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion. To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me.
Psalms 6:2O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled.Favour me, O Jehovah, for I [am] weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones,
Psalms 6:3Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? My soul is in bitter trouble; and you, O Lord, how long? And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?
Psalms 6:4And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake. Come back, O Lord, make my soul free; O give me salvation because of your mercy.Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness` sake.
Psalms 6:5Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake. For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? For in death there is no memory of you; in the underworld who will give you praise? For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee?
Psalms 6:6For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. The voice of my sorrow is a weariness to me; all the night I make my bed wet with weeping; it is watered by the drops flowing from my eyes.I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night [on] my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.
Psalms 6:7I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries. My eyes are wasting away with trouble; they are becoming old because of all those who are against me.Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,
Psalms 6:8My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping. Go from me, all you workers of evil; for the Lord has given ear to the voice of my weeping.Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,
Psalms 6:9Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer. The Lord has given ear to my request; the Lord has let my prayer come before him.Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth.
Psalms 6:10The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer. All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. Let all those who are against me be shamed and deeply troubled; let them be turned back and suddenly put to shame.Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back ashamed [in] a moment!
Psalms 6:11Let all my enemies be ashamed, and be very much troubled: let them be turned back, and be ashamed very speedily.
