Psalms 21:1Unto the end, for the morning protection, a psalm for David.The king shall joy in thy strength, O Jehovah; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. Jehovah, in Thy strength is the king joyful, In Thy salvation how greatly he rejoiceth.
Psalms 21:2O God my God, look upon me: why hast thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation are the words of my sins.Thou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.The desire of his heart Thou gavest to him, And the request of his lips Thou hast not withheld. Selah.
Psalms 21:3O my God, I shall cry by day, and thou wilt not hear: and by night, and it shall not be reputed as folly in me.For thou meetest him with the blessings of goodness: Thou settest a crown of fine gold on his head. For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.For Thou puttest before him blessings of goodness, Thou settest on his head a crown of fine gold.
Psalms 21:4But thou dwellest in the holy place, the praise of Israel.He asked life of thee, thou gavest it him, Even length of days for ever and ever. He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.Life he hath asked from Thee, Thou hast given to him length of days, Age-during and for ever.
Psalms 21:5In thee have our fathers hoped: they have hoped, and thou hast delivered them.His glory is great in thy salvation: Honor and majesty dost thou lay upon him. His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.Great [is] his honour in Thy salvation, Honour and majesty Thou placest on him.
Psalms 21:6They cried to thee, and they were saved: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.For thou makest him most blessed for ever: Thou makest him glad with joy in thy presence. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.For Thou makest him blessings for ever, Thou dost cause him to rejoice with joy, By Thy countenance.
Psalms 21:7But I am a worm, and no man: the reproach of men, and the outcast of the people.For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved. For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.For the king is trusting in Jehovah, And in the kindness of the Most High He is not moved.
Psalms 21:8All they that saw me have laughed me to scorn: they have spoken with the lips, and wagged the head.Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee. Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.Thy hand cometh to all Thine enemies, Thy right hand doth find Thy haters.
Psalms 21:9He hoped in the Lord, let him deliver him: let him save him, seeing he delighteth in him.Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.Thou makest them as a furnace of fire, At the time of Thy presence. Jehovah in His anger doth swallow them, And fire doth devour them.
Psalms 21:10For thou art he that hast drawn me out of the womb: my hope from the breasts of my mother.Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men. Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.Their fruit from earth Thou destroyest, And their seed from the sons of men.
Psalms 21:11I was cast upon thee from the womb. From my mother's womb thou art my God,For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform. For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.For they stretched out against Thee evil, They devised a wicked device, they prevail not,
Psalms 21:12depart not from me. For tribulation is very near: for there is none to help me.For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face. Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.For Thou makest them a butt, When Thy strings Thou preparest against their faces.
Psalms 21:13Many calves have surrounded me: fat bulls have besieged me.Be thou exalted, O Jehovah, in thy strength: So will we sing and praise thy power. Psalm 22 For the Chief Musician; set to Aijaleth hash-Shahar. A Psalm of David. Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.Be Thou exalted, O Jehovah in, Thy strength, We sing and we praise Thy might!
Psalms 21:14They have opened their mouths against me, as a lion ravening and roaring.
Psalms 21:15I am poured out like water; and all my bones are scattered. My heart is become like wax melting in the midst of my bowels.
Psalms 21:16My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue hath cleaved to my jaws: and thou hast brought me down into the dust of death.
Psalms 21:17For many dogs have encompassed me: the council of the malignant hath besieged me. They have dug my hands and feet.
Psalms 21:18They have numbered all my bones. And they have looked and stared upon me.
Psalms 21:19They parted my garments amongst them; and upon my vesture they cast lots.
Psalms 21:20But thou, O Lord, remove not thy help to a distance from me; look towards my defence.
Psalms 21:21Deliver, O God, my soul from the sword: my only one from the hand of the dog.
Psalms 21:22Save me from the lion's mouth; and my lowness from the horns of the unicorns.
Psalms 21:23I will declare thy name to my brethren: in the midst of the church will I praise thee.
Psalms 21:24Ye that fear the Lord, praise him: all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him.
Psalms 21:25Let all the seed of Israel fear him: because he hath not slighted nor despised the supplication of the poor man. Neither hath he turned away his face from me: and when I cried to him he heard me.
Psalms 21:26With thee is my praise in a great church: I will pay my vows in the sight of them that fear him.
Psalms 21:27The poor shall eat and shall be filled: and they shall praise the Lord that seek him: their hearts shall live for ever and ever.
Psalms 21:28All the ends of the earth shall remember, and shall be converted to the Lord: And all the kindreds of the Gentiles shall adore in his sight.
Psalms 21:29For the kingdom is the Lord's; and he shall have dominion over the nations.
Psalms 21:30All the fat ones of the earth have eaten and have adored: all they that go down to the earth shall fall before him.
Psalms 21:31And to him my soul shall live: and my seed shall serve him.
Psalms 21:32There shall be declared to the Lord a generation to come: and the heavens shall shew forth his justice to a people that shall be born, which the Lord hath made.
