| Psalms 71:1 | A psalm on Solomon. | In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame. | In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. | In Thee, O Jehovah, I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed to the age. |
| Psalms 71:2 | Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king's son thy justice: To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment. | Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me: Bow down thine ear unto me, and save me. | Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thy ear to me, and save me. | In Thy righteousness Thou dost deliver me, And dost cause me to escape, Incline unto me Thine ear, and save me. |
