| Isaiah 22:1 | The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee also, that thou too art wholly gone up to the housetops? | The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops? |
| Isaiah 22:2 | Full of clamour, a populous city, a joyous city: thy slain are not slain by the sword, nor dead in battle. | O thou that art full of shoutings, a tumultuous city, a joyous town; thy slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle. |
| Isaiah 22:3 | All the princes are fled together, and are bound hard: all that were found, are bound together, they are fled far off. | All thy rulers fled away together, they were bound by the archers; all that were found of thee were bound together; they fled afar off. |
| Isaiah 22:4 | Therefore have I said: Depart from me, I will weep bitterly: labour not to comfort me, for the devastation of the daughter of my people. | Therefore said I, Look away from me, I will weep bitterly; labor not to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people. |
