Psalms 60:1Unto the end, in hymns, for David.O God thou hast cast us off, thou hast broken us down; Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.
Psalms 60:2Hear, O God, my supplication: be attentive to my prayer,Thou hast made the land to tremble; thou hast rent it: Heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
Psalms 60:3To thee have I cried from the ends of the earth: when my heart was in anguish, thou hast exalted me on a rock. Thou hast conducted me;Thou hast showed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.
Psalms 60:4for thou hast been my hope; a tower of strength against the face of the enemy.Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah
Psalms 60:5In thy tabernacle I shall dwell for ever: I shall be protected under the covert of thy wings.That thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.
Psalms 60:6For thou, my God, hast heard my prayer: thou hast given an inheritance to them that fear thy name.God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
Psalms 60:7Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years even to generation and generation.Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.
Psalms 60:8He abideth for ever in the sight of God: his mercy and truth who shall search ?Moab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, shout thou because of me.
Psalms 60:9So will I sing a psalm to thy name for ever and ever: that I may pay my vows from day to day.Who will bring me into the strong city? Who hath led me unto Edom?
