| Psalms 61:1 | Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of David. | Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer. |
| Psalms 61:2 | Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation. | From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. |
| Psalms 61:3 | For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more. | For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. |
| Psalms 61:4 | How long do you rush in upon a man? you all kill, as if you were thrusting down a leaning wall, and a tottering fence. | I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah |
