| Psalms 76:1 | Unto the end, for Idithun, a psalm of Asaph. | In Judah is God known: His name is great in Israel. |
| Psalms 76:2 | I cried to the Lord with my voice; to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me. | In Salem also is his tabernacle, And his dwelling-place in Zion. |
| Psalms 76:3 | In the day of my trouble I sought God, with my hands lifted up to him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be comforted: | There he brake the arrows of the bow; The shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah |
