| Jeremiah 27:1 | In the beginning of the reign of Joakim the son of Josias king of Juda, this word came to Jeremias from the Lord, saying: | When Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, first became king this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, | In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying, | In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, the king of Judah, came this word to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying, |
| Jeremiah 27:2 | Thus saith the Lord to me: Make thee bands, and chains: and thou shalt put them on thy neck. | This is what the Lord has said to me: Make for yourself bands and yokes and put them on your neck; | Thus says Yahweh to me: Make you bonds and bars, and put them on your neck; | Thus hath Jehovah said unto me: Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck; |

| Jeremiah 27:5 | I made the earth, and the men, and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power, and by my stretched out arm: and I have given it to whom it seemed good in my eyes. | I have made the earth, and man and beast on the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I will give it to anyone at my pleasure. | I have made the earth, the men and the animals that are on the surface of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give it to whom it seems right to me. | I have made the earth, man and beast that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm; and I give them unto whom it seemeth right in mine eyes. |

| Jeremiah 27:9 | Therefore hearken not to your prophets, and diviners, and dreamers, and soothsayers, and sorcerers, that say to you: You shall not serve the king Babylon. | And you are not to give attention to your prophets or your readers of signs or your dreamers or those who see into the future or those who make use of secret arts, who say to you, You will not become servants of the king of Babylon: | But as for you, don't you listen to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: | And ye, hearken not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak unto you saying: Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon. |
