Proverbs 1:7The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 1:18And they themselves lie in wait for their own blood, and practise deceits against their own souls.And they are secretly waiting for their blood and making ready destruction for themselves.These lay wait for their own blood. Proverbs 1:19So the wage of every covetous man destroy the souls of the possessors.Such is the fate of everyone who goes in search of profit; it takes away the life of its owners.So are the ways of everyone who is greedy of gain. It takes away the life of its owners.So are the paths of every one that is greedy of gain: it taketh away the life of its possessors.
Proverbs 1:20Wisdom preacheth abroad, she uttereth her voice in the streets:Wisdom is crying out in the street; her voice is loud in the open places;Wisdom calls aloud in the street. She utters her voice in the public squares.Wisdom crieth without; she raiseth her voice in the broadways;
Proverbs 1:21At the head of multitudes she crieth out, in the entrance of the gates of the city she uttereth her words, saying:Her words are sounding in the meeting-places, and in the doorways of the town:She calls at the head of noisy places. At the entrance of the city gates, she utters her words:she calleth in the chief [place] of concourse, in the entry of the gates; in the city she uttereth her words:
Proverbs 1:22O children, how long will you love childishness, and fools covet those things which are hurtful to themselves, and the unwise hate knowledge?How long, you simple ones, will foolish things be dear to you? and pride a delight to the haters of authority? how long will the foolish go on hating knowledge?"How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, And fools hate knowledge?How long, simple ones, will ye love simpleness, and scorners take pleasure in their scorning, and the foolish hate knowledge?
Proverbs 1:23Turn ye at my reproof: behold I will utter my spirit to you, and will shew you my words.Be turned again by my sharp words: see, I will send the flow of my spirit on you, and make my words clear to you.Turn at my reproof. Proverbs 1:26I also will laugh in your destruction, and will mock when that shall come to you which you feared.So in the day of your trouble I will be laughing; I will make sport of your fear;I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you;I also will laugh in your calamity, I will mock when your fear cometh;
Proverbs 1:27When sudden calamity shall fall on you, and destruction, as a tempest, shall be at hand: when tribulation and distress shall come upon you:When your fear comes on you like a storm, and your trouble like a rushing wind; when pain and sorrow come on you.When calamity overtakes you like a storm, When your disaster comes on like a whirlwind; When distress and anguish come on you.when your fear cometh as sudden destruction, and your calamity cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come upon you:

Proverbs 1:32The turning away of little ones shall kill them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.For the turning back of the simple from teaching will be the cause of their death, and the peace of the foolish will be their destruction.For the backsliding of the simple will kill them. The careless ease of fools will destroy them.For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of the foolish shall cause them to perish.
Proverbs 1:33But he that shall hear me, shall rest without terror, and shall enjoy abundance, without fear of evils.But whoever gives ear to me will take his rest safely, living in peace without fear of evil.But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, And will be at ease, without fear of harm."But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be at rest from fear of evil.
