| Psalms 14:1 | A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill? | <To the chief music-maker. Of David.> The foolish man has said in his heart, God will not do anything. They are unclean, they have done evil works; there is not one who does good. | The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they have done abominable works. There is none who does good. | {To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.} The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good. |
| Psalms 14:2 | He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice: | The Lord was looking down from heaven on the children of men, to see if there were any who had wisdom, searching after God. | Yahweh looked down from heaven on the children of men, To see if there were any who did understand, Who did seek after God. | Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. |
