| Psalms 24:1 | Unto the end, a psalm for David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul. | <A Psalm. Of David.> The earth is the Lord's, with all its wealth; the world and all the people living in it. | The earth is Yahweh's, with its fullness; The world, and those who dwell therein. | {Of David. A Psalm.} The earth is Jehovah's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. |
| Psalms 24:2 | In thee, O my God, I put my trust; let me not be ashamed. | For by him it was based on the seas, and made strong on the deep rivers. | For he has founded it on the seas, And established it on the floods. | For it was he that founded it upon seas, and established it upon floods. |
| Psalms 24:3 | Neither let my enemies laugh at me: for none of them that wait on thee shall be confounded. | Who may go up into the hill of the Lord? and who may come into his holy place? | Who may ascend to Yahweh's hill? Who may stand in his holy place? | Who shall ascend into the mount of Jehovah? and who shall stand in his holy place? |
| Psalms 24:4 | Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths. | He who has clean hands and a true heart; whose desire has not gone out to foolish things, who has not taken a false oath. | He who has clean hands and a pure heart; Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, And has not sworn deceitfully. | He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully: |
| Psalms 24:5 | Direct me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art God my Saviour; and on thee have I waited all the day long. | He will have blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. | He shall receive a blessing from Yahweh, Righteousness from the God of his salvation. | He shall receive blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. |
| Psalms 24:6 | Remember, O Lord, thy bowels of compassion; and thy mercies that are from the beginning of the world. | This is the generation of those whose hearts are turned to you, even to your face, O God of Jacob. (Selah.) | This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek your face even Jacob. Selah. | This is the generation of them that seek unto him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. |
| Psalms 24:7 | The sins of my youth and my ignorances do not remember. According to thy mercy remember thou me: for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. | Let your heads be lifted up, O doors; be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in. | Lift up your heads, you gates; Be lifted up, you everlasting doors: The King of glory will come in. | Lift up your heads, ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. |
| Psalms 24:8 | The Lord is sweet and righteous: therefore he will give a law to sinners in the way. | Who is the King of glory? The Lord of strength and power, the Lord strong in war. | Who is the King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle. | Who is this King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle. |
| Psalms 24:9 | He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways. | Let your heads be lifted up, O doors; let them be lifted up, O you eternal doors: that the King of glory may come in. | Lift up your heads, you gates; Yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors: The King of glory will come in. | Lift up your heads, ye gates; yea, lift up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in. |
