Of David.> O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion. | Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your anger, Neither discipline me in your wrath. | {To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments, upon Sheminith. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure. |
| Psalms 6:2 | O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath. | Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled. | Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint. Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled. | Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble. |
