| Psalms 86:1 | For the sons of Core, a psalm of a canticle. The foundations thereof are in the holy mountains: | <A Prayer. Of David.> Let your ears be open to my voice, O Lord, and give me an answer; for I am poor and in need. | Hear, Yahweh, and answer me, For I am poor and needy. | Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy. |
| Psalms 86:2 | The Lord loveth the gates of Sion above all the tabernacles of Jacob. | Keep my soul, for I am true to you; O my God, give salvation to your servant, whose hope is in you. | Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you. | Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee. |
| Psalms 86:3 | Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God. | Have mercy on me, O Lord; for my cry goes up to you all the day. | Be merciful to me, Lord, For I call to you all day long. | Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily. |
| Psalms 86:4 | I will be mindful of Rahab and of Babylon knowing me. Behold the foreigners, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians, these were there. | Make glad the soul of your servant; for it is lifted up to you, O Lord. | Bring joy to the soul of your servant, For to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul. | Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. |
| Psalms 86:5 | Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her. | You are good, O Lord, and full of forgiveness; your mercy is great to all who make their cry to you. | For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; Abundant in lovingkindness to all those who call on you. | For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. |
| Psalms 86:6 | The Lord shall tell in his writings of peoples and of princes, of them that have been in her. | O Lord, give ear to my prayer; and take note of the sound of my requests. | Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions. | Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. |
| Psalms 86:7 | The dwelling in thee is as it were of all rejoicing. | In the day of my trouble I send up my cry to you; for you will give me an answer. | In the day of my trouble I will call on you, For you will answer me. | In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. |
