With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
Psalms 89:2Before the mountains were made, or the earth and the world was formed; from eternity and to eternity thou art God.For you have said, Mercy will be made strong for ever; my faith will be unchanging in the heavens.I indeed declare, "Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them."For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness wilt thou establish in the very heavens.
Psalms 89:3Turn not man away to be brought low: and thou hast said: Be converted, O ye sons of men.I have made an agreement with the man of my selection, I have made an oath to David my servant;"I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant,I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant,
Psalms 89:4For a thousand years in thy sight are as yesterday, which is past. And as a watch in the night,I will make your seed go on for ever, your kingdom will be strong through all generations. Psalms 89:5things that are counted nothing, shall their years be.In heaven let them give praise for your wonders, O Lord; and your unchanging faith among the saints. The heavens will praise your wonders, Yahweh; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones. And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD; thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
Psalms 89:6In the morning man shall grow up like grass; in the morning he shall flourish and pass away: in the evening he shall fall, grow dry, and wither. For who is there in the heavens in comparison with the Lord? who is like the Lord among the sons of the gods? For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh,For who in the heaven can be compared to the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?
Psalms 89:7For in thy wrath we have fainted away: and are troubled in thy indignation.God is greatly to be feared among the saints, and to be honoured over all those who are about him.A very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, To be feared above all those who are around him?God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence by all them that are about him.
Psalms 89:8Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance.O Lord God of armies, who is strong like you, O Jah? and your unchanging faith is round about you.Yahweh, God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like to thee? or to thy faithfulness around thee?
Psalms 89:9For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered spider:You have rule over the sea in storm; when its waves are troubled, you make them calm. You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.
Psalms 89:10the days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected.Rahab was crushed by you like one wounded to death; with your strong arm you put to flight all your haters. You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thy enemies with thy strong arm.
Psalms 89:11Who knoweth the power of thy anger, and for thy fearYours are the heavens, and the earth is yours; you have made the world, and everything which is in it.The heavens are yours, the earth also is yours; The world and its fullness. You have founded them. The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world, and the fullness of it, thou hast founded them.
Psalms 89:12can number thy wrath? So make thy right hand known: and men learned in heart, in wisdom. You have made the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon are sounding with joy at your name. The north and the south, you have created them. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name. The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
Psalms 89:13Return, O Lord, how long? and be entreated in favour of thy servants.Yours is an arm of power; strong is your hand and high your right hand. You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
Psalms 89:14We are filled in the morning with thy mercy: and we have rejoiced, and are delighted all our days. The seat of your kingdom is resting on righteousness and right judging: mercy and good faith come before your face.Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Lovingkindness and truth go before your face.Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
Psalms 89:15We have rejoiced for the days in which thou hast humbled us: for the years in which we have seen evils.Happy are the people who have knowledge of the holy cry: the light of your face, O Lord, will be shining on their way.Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, Yahweh.Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
Psalms 89:16Look upon thy servants and upon their works: and direct their children. In your name will they have joy all the day: in your righteousness will they be lifted up.In your name do they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
Psalms 89:17And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and direct thou the works of our hands over us; yea, the work of our hands do thou direct. For you are the glory of their strength; in your pleasure will our horn be lifted up.For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted. For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.
