Psalms 19:1Unto the end. A psalm for David.<To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> The heavens are sounding the glory of God; the arch of the sky makes clear the work of his hands.
Psalms 19:2May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee.Day after day it sends out its word, and night after night it gives knowledge.
Psalms 19:3May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion. There are no words or language; their voice makes no sound.
Psalms 19:4May he be mindful of all thy sacrifices: and may thy whole burnt offering be made fat.Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he put a tent for the sun,
Psalms 19:5May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.Who is like a newly married man coming from his bride-tent, and is glad like a strong runner starting on his way.
Psalms 19:6We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted. His going out is from the end of the heaven, and his circle to the ends of it; there is nothing which is not open to his heat.
Psalms 19:7The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers. The law of the Lord is good, giving new life to the soul: the witness of the Lord is certain, giving wisdom to the foolish.
Psalms 19:8Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.The orders of the Lord are right, making glad the heart: the rule of the Lord is holy, giving light to the eyes.
Psalms 19:9They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee. The fear of the Lord is clean, and has no end; the decisions of the Lord are true and full of righteousness.
