A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.<To the chief music-maker on Muthlabben. A Psalm. Of David.> I will give you praise, O Lord, with all my heart; I will make clear all the wonder of your works. To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy wonderful works.
Psalms 9:2I will give praise to thee, O Lord, with my whole heart: I will relate all thy wonders.I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.I will be glad and have delight in you: I will make a song of praise to your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Psalms 9:3I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing to thy name, O thou most high. When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:When my haters are turned back, they will be broken and overcome before you. When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Psalms 9:4When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened and perish before thy face. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously. For you gave approval to my right and my cause; you were seated in your high place judging in righteousness. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou sattest on the throne judging right.
Psalms 9:5For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. You have said sharp words to the nations, you have sent destruction on the sinners, you have put an end to their name for ever and ever.Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
Psalms 9:6Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished: thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished. You have given their towns to destruction; the memory of them has gone; they have become waste for ever.O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial hath perished with them.
Psalms 9:7The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise. But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment. But the Lord is King for ever: he has made ready his high seat for judging. But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
Psalms 9:8but the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity. And he will be the judge of the world in righteousness, giving true decisions for the peoples. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Psalms 9:9and he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice. And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress. The Lord will be a high tower for those who are crushed down, a high tower in times of trouble; The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
Psalms 9:10And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation. And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. And those who have knowledge of your name will put their faith in you; because you, Lord, have ever given your help to those who were waiting for you.And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Psalms 9:11And let them trust in thee who know thy name: for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord.Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.Make songs of praise to the Lord, whose house is in Zion: make his doings clear to the people.Sing praises to the LORD, who dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
Psalms 9:12Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten. When he makes search for blood, he has them in his memory: he is not without thought for the cry of the poor. When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.
Psalms 9:13For requiring their blood he hath remembered the: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:Have mercy on me, O Lord, and see how I am troubled by my haters; let me be lifted up from the doors of death;Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer from them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
Psalms 9:14Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies. That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation. So that I may make clear all your praise in the house of the daughter of Zion: I will be glad because of your salvation. That I may show forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.
Psalms 9:15Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion. The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken. The nations have gone down into the hole which they made: in their secret net is their foot taken. The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
Psalms 9:16I will rejoice in thy salvation: the Gentiles have stuck fast in the destruction which they have prepared. Their foot hath been taken in the very snare which they hid.Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The Lord has given knowledge of himself through his judging: the evil-doer is taken in the net which his hands had made. (Higgaion. Selah.)The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
Psalms 9:17The Lord shall be known when he executeth judgments: the sinner hath been caught in the works of his own hands. The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.The sinners and all the nations who have no memory of God will be turned into the underworld. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 9:18The wicked shall be turned into hell, all the nations that forget God.For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever. For the poor will not be without help; the hopes of those in need will not be crushed for ever. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
Psalms 9:19For the poor man shall not be forgotten to the end: the patience of the poor shall not perish for ever.Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.Up!
