| Psalms 5:2 | Give ear, O Lord, to my words, understand my cry. | Hearken unto the voice of my crying, my king and my God; for to thee will I pray. | Let the voice of my cry come to you, my King and my God; for to you will I make my prayer. | Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually. |

| Psalms 5:6 | Neither shall the wicked dwell near thee: nor shall the unjust abide before thy eyes. | Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit. | You will send destruction on those whose words are false; the cruel man and the man of deceit are hated by the Lord. | Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate. |
| Psalms 5:7 | Thou hatest all the workers of iniquity: Thou wilt destroy all that speak a lie. The bloody and the deceitful man the Lord will abhor. | But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear. | But as for me, I will come into your house, in the full measure of your mercy; and in your fear I will give worship, turning my eyes to your holy Temple. | And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear. |

| Psalms 5:9 | Conduct me, O Lord, in thy justice: because of my enemies, direct my way in thy sight. | For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. | For no faith may be put in their words; their inner part is nothing but evil; their throat is like an open place for the dead; smooth are the words of their tongues. | For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, An open grave [is] their throat, Their tongue they make smooth. |

Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord. | And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee. | But let all those who put their faith in you be glad with cries of joy at all times, and let all the lovers of your name be glad in you. | And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee. |
