Psalms 7:1The psalm of David which he sung to the Lord for the words of Chusi the son of Jemini. [2 Kings 16.]{Shiggaion of David, which he sang to Jehovah, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite.} Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;Shiggaion of David, which he sang to the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjaminite. O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
Psalms 7:2O Lord my God, in thee have I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me.Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer.Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
Psalms 7:3Lest at any time he seize upon my soul like a lion, while there is no one to redeem me, nor to save.Jehovah my God, if I have done this, if there be iniquity in my hands;O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there is iniquity in my hands;
Psalms 7:4O Lord my God, if I have done this thing, if there be iniquity in my hands:If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (yes, I have delivered him that without cause is my enemy:)
Psalms 7:5If I have rendered to them that repaid me evils, let me deservedly fall empty before my enemies.Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yes, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay my honor in the dust. Selah.
Psalms 7:6Let the enemy pursue my soul, and take it, and tread down my life on the earth, and bring down my glory to the dust.Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.Arise, O LORD, in thy anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of my enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
Psalms 7:7Rise up, O Lord, in thy anger: and be thou exalted in the borders of my enemies. And arise, O Lord my God, in the precept which thou hast commanded:And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.So shall the congregation of the people encompass thee: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
Psalms 7:8and a congregation of people shall surround thee. And for their sakes return thou on high.Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity that is in me.
Psalms 7:9The Lord judgeth the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice, and according to my innocence in me.Oh let the wrong of the wicked come to an end, and establish thou the righteous [man]; even thou that triest the hearts and reins, the righteous God.Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Psalms 7:10The wickedness of sinners shall be brought to nought: and thou shalt direct the just: the searcher of hearts and reins is God.My shield is with God, who saveth the upright in heart.My defense is from God, who saveth the upright in heart.
Psalms 7:11Just is my help from the Lord: who saveth the upright of heart.God is a righteous judge, and a ùGod who is indignant all the day.God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psalms 7:12God is a just judge, strong and patient: is he angry every day?If one turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he hath bent his bow and made it ready,If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
Psalms 7:13Except you will be converted, he will brandish his sword: he hath bent his bow and made it ready.And he hath prepared for him instruments of death; his arrows hath he made burning.He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
Psalms 7:14And in it he hath prepared the instruments of death, he hath made ready his arrows for them that burn.Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood:Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
Psalms 7:15Behold he hath been in labour with injustice; he hath conceived sorrow, and brought forth iniquity.He digged a pit, and hollowed it out, and is fallen into the hole that he made.He made a pit, and digged it, and hath fallen into the ditch which he made.
Psalms 7:16He hath opened a pit and dug it; and he is fallen into the hole he made.His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
Psalms 7:17His sorrow shall be turned on his own head: and his iniquity shall comedown upon his crown.I will praise Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing forth the name of Jehovah the Most High.I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
Psalms 7:18I will give glory to the Lord according to his justice: and will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
