| Psalms 89:7 | For in thy wrath we have fainted away: and are troubled in thy indignation. | ùGod is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him. | | God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence by all them that are about him. |
| Psalms 89:8 | Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance. | Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee. | | O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like to thee? or to thy faithfulness around thee? |
| Psalms 89:9 | For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered spider: | *Thou* rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, *thou* stillest them. | | Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them. |
| Psalms 89:10 | the days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected. | Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength. | | Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thy enemies with thy strong arm. |
| Psalms 89:11 | Who knoweth the power of thy anger, and for thy fear | Thine are the heavens, the earth also is thine; the world and its fulness, *thou* hast founded them. | | The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world, and the fullness of it, thou hast founded them. |
| Psalms 89:12 | can number thy wrath? So make thy right hand known: and men learned in heart, in wisdom. | The north and the south, *thou* hast created them: Tabor and Hermon triumph in thy name. | | The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. |
| Psalms 89:13 | Return, O Lord, how long? and be entreated in favour of thy servants. | Thine is the arm of might: strong is thy hand, high is thy right hand. | | Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. |
