Psalms 66:1Unto the end, in, hymns, a psalm of a canticle for David.Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:<To the chief music-maker. A Song. A Psalm.> Send up a glad cry to God, all the earth:To the Overseer. A Song, a Psalm. Shout ye to God, all the earth.
Psalms 66:2May God have mercy on us, and bless us: may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us, and may he have mercy on us.Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.Make a song in honour of his name: give praise and glory to him.Praise ye the honour of His name, Make ye honourable His praise.
Psalms 66:3That we may know thy way upon earth: thy salvation in all nations.Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.Say to God, How greatly to be feared are your works! because of your great power your haters are forced to put themselves under your feet.Say to God, `How fearful [are] Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.
Psalms 66:4Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.Let all the earth give you worship, and make songs to you; let them make songs to your name. (Selah.)All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.` Selah.
Psalms 66:5Let the nations be glad and rejoice: for thou judgest the people with justice, and directest the nations upon earth.Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. Come and see the works of God: he is to be feared in all he does to the children of men.Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.
Psalms 66:6Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.The sea was turned into dry land: they went through the river on foot: there did we have joy in him.He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.
Psalms 66:7the earth hath yielded her fruit. May God, our God bless us,He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah. He is ruling in power for ever; his eyes are watching the nations: may his haters have no strength against him. (Selah.)Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. Selah.
Psalms 66:8may God bless us: and all the ends of the earth fear him.O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: Give blessings to our God, O you peoples, let the voice of his praise be loud;Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,
