Psalms 65:1Unto the end, a canticle of a psalm of the resurrection. Shout with joy to God, all the earth,Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.Praise waits for you, God, in Zion. To you shall vows be performed.To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence praise, O God, [is] in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.
Psalms 65:2sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise.O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. You who hear prayer, To you all men will come.Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.
Psalms 65:3Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee.Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away. Sins overwhelmed me, But you atoned for our transgressions.Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions Thou dost cover them.
Psalms 65:4Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name.Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.Blessed is one whom you choose, and cause to come near, That he may live in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, Your holy temple.O the happiness of [him whom] Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
Psalms 65:5Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of all the ends of the earth, Of those who are far away on the sea;By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.
Psalms 65:6Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him.Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:Who by his power forms the mountains, Having armed yourself with strength;Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
Psalms 65:7Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves.Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations.Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.
Psalms 65:8O bless our God, ye Gentiles: and make the voice of his praise to be heard.They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.They also who dwell in far-away places are afraid at your wonders. You call the morning's dawn and the evening with songs of joy.And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.
Psalms 65:9Who hath set my soul to live: and hath not suffered my feet to be moved:Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God [is] full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,
Psalms 65:10For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us by fire, as silver is tried.Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.You drench its furrows. You level its ridges. You soften it with showers. You bless it with a crop.Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.
Psalms 65:11Thou hast brought us into a net, thou hast laid afflictions on our back:Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.You crown the year with your bounty. Your carts overflow with abundance.Thou hast crowned the year of Thy goodness, And Thy paths drop fatness.
Psalms 65:12thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through tire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.The wilderness grasslands overflow. The hills are clothed with gladness.Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.
Psalms 65:13I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.The pastures are covered with flocks. The valleys also are clothed with grain. They shout for joy! They also sing. Psalm 66 For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm.Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout yea, they sing!
Psalms 65:14which my lips have uttered, And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
Psalms 65:15I will offer up to thee holocausts full of marrow, with burnt offerings of rams: I will offer to thee bullocks with goats.
Psalms 65:16Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will tell you what great things he hath done for my soul.
Psalms 65:17I cried to him with my mouth: and I extolled him with my tongue.
Psalms 65:18If I have looked at iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.
Psalms 65:19Therefore hath God heard me, and hath attended to the voice of my supplication.
Psalms 65:20Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
