Psalms 23:2For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He makes a resting-place for me in the green fields: he is my guide by the quiet waters. In pastures of tender grass He causeth me to lie down, By quiet waters He doth lead me.
Psalms 23:3Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place? He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.He gives new life to my soul: he is my guide in the ways of righteousness because of his name.My soul He refresheth, He leadeth me in paths of righteousness, For His name`s sake,
Psalms 23:4The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shades of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Yes, though I go through the valley of deep shade, I will have no fear of evil; for you are with me, your rod and your support are my comfort. Also when I walk in a valley of death-shade, I fear no evil, for Thou [art] with me, Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Psalms 23:5He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. You make ready a table for me in front of my haters: you put oil on my head; my cup is overflowing.Thou arrangest before me a table, Over-against my adversaries, Thou hast anointed with oil my head, My cup is full!
Psalms 23:6This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.Truly, blessing and mercy will be with me all the days of my life; and I will have a place in the house of the Lord all my days.Only goodness and kindness pursue me, All the days of my life, And my dwelling [is] in the house of Jehovah, For a length of days!
