| Psalms 89:2 | Before the mountains were made, or the earth and the world was formed; from eternity and to eternity thou art God. | For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness wilt thou establish in the very heavens. | For you have said, Mercy will be made strong for ever; my faith will be unchanging in the heavens. | For I said, `To the age is kindness built, The heavens! Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness in them.` |
| Psalms 89:3 | Turn not man away to be brought low: and thou hast said: Be converted, O ye sons of men. | I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant, | I have made an agreement with the man of my selection, I have made an oath to David my servant; | I have made a covenant for My chosen, I have sworn to David My servant: |

Is like to Jehovah among sons of the mighty? |
| Psalms 89:7 | For in thy wrath we have fainted away: and are troubled in thy indignation. | God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence by all them that are about him. | God is greatly to be feared among the saints, and to be honoured over all those who are about him. | God is very terrible, In the secret counsel of His holy ones, And fearful over all surrounding Him. |
| Psalms 89:8 | Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance. | O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like to thee? or to thy faithfulness around thee? | O Lord God of armies, who is strong like you, O Jah? and your unchanging faith is round about you. | O Jehovah, God of Hosts, Who [is] like Thee a strong Jah? | Psalms 89:10 | the days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. With the arm of Thy strength Thou hast scattered Thine enemies. |
