| Psalms 19:1 | Unto the end. A psalm for David. | The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork. | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> The heavens are sounding the glory of God; the arch of the sky makes clear the work of his hands. | To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. The heavens [are] recounting the honour of God, And the work of His hands The expanse [is] declaring. |
| Psalms 19:2 | May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee. | Day after day they pour forth speech, And night after night they display knowledge. | Day after day it sends out its word, and night after night it gives knowledge. | Day to day uttereth speech, And night to night sheweth knowledge. |

| Psalms 19:9 | They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright.
