| Psalms 75:1 | Unto the end, in praises, a psalm for Asaph: a canticle to the Assyrians. | To the Overseer. `Destroy not.` A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. We have given thanks to Thee, O God, We have given thanks, and near [is] Thy name, They have recounted Thy wonders. | We give thanks to you, God, We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works. | To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. To thee, O God, do we give thanks, to thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near, thy wondrous works declare. |
| Psalms 75:2 | In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel. | When I receive an appointment, I I do judge uprightly. | When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly. | When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. |
| Psalms 75:3 | And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion: | Melted is the earth and all its inhabitants, I I have pondered its pillars. Selah. | The earth and all its inhabitants quake. | Psalms 75:8 | Thou art terrible, and who shall resist thee? from that time thy wrath. | For a cup [is] in the hand of Jehovah, And the wine hath foamed, It is full of mixture, and He poureth out of it, Only its dregs wring out, and drink, Do all the wicked of the earth, | For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, Full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs. | For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs of it all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them. |
