| 1st-Corinthians 12:1 | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant. | But about the things of the spirit, my brothers, it is not right for you to be without teaching. | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:2 | Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. | Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might led. | You are conscious that when you were Gentiles, in whatever way you were guided, you went after images without voice or power. | You know that when you were Gentiles, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. |
