| Jeremiah 27:2 | Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them upon thy neck, | Thus saith Jehovah to me: Make thee bonds and bars, and put them upon thy neck; | This is what the Lord has said to me: Make for yourself bands and yokes and put them on your neck; | Thus says Yahweh to me: Make you bonds and bars, and put them on your neck; |

| Jeremiah 27:9 | Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: | But as for you, hearken ye not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, that speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon: | And you are not to give attention to your prophets or your readers of signs or your dreamers or those who see into the future or those who make use of secret arts, who say to you, You will not become servants of the king of Babylon: | But as for you, don't you listen to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, You shall not serve the king of Babylon: |
