Psalms 6:1O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave.
Psalms 6:2Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled. O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath.
Psalms 6:3My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.
Psalms 6:4Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness' sake. And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?
Psalms 6:5For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake.
Psalms 6:6I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?
Psalms 6:7Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries. I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.
Psalms 6:8Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping. My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.
Psalms 6:9The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.
Psalms 6:10Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly. All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite. The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer.
